Who it’s for
A programme for sprint speed differs from one built for endurance, and a young athlete’s needs differ from an experienced competitor’s.

Training with a clear purpose

Your coach
I have been involved in sport since the age of five and competed at national level in decathlon in Greece. Athletics remains an important part of my coaching, alongside my broader strength and conditioning work.
I am a licensed England Athletics coach specialising in speed, and my MSc in Strength & Conditioning and CSCS qualification support that practical background, so every session has a reason behind it.
How it works
Sports & youth coaching · questions
I coach young athletes, including primary-school-age children, as well as adult athletes. Young athletes arrive with different levels of experience, confidence and physical development, and I plan their training with an approach suited to their age and abilities.
Please make the enquiry as the child’s parent or guardian. Tell me about their age, sport, current activity and what they would like help with, and we can discuss an appropriate starting point.
Training is planned around the young athlete’s age, abilities and development, with the focus on sound technique and the foundations relevant to their sport. You can read more in my article on strength training for young athletes.
Athletics sessions can include sprint technique, running mechanics, speed development, long jump, shot put and javelin. One weekly outdoor session is £248 per 4-week block (£62 per session), or £77.50 as a flexible session.
Yes. I consider the demands of your sport and your existing training when planning strength and conditioning, so the programme has a clear purpose, whether you are building experience or already competing.
If you are outside the local area, online coaching may be an option where independent training and remote feedback suit your needs.
